卡拉膠一種由紅藻類中天然高分子多糖物質,具有粘性、穩定性、能形成凝膠,可與一些物質形成成絡合物,可作增稠劑,凝固劑,懸浮劑,乳化劑等。
卡拉膠產品一般為白色或淡黃色粉沫,無味,卡拉膠的水溶性很好,在70℃就開始溶解,80℃則完全溶解。
卡拉膠主要廣泛應用于食品工業、日用化工、生化與醫藥等領域。在食品工業上可用于冰淇淋,巧克力牛奶、果凍、軟飲料、面包、火腿,肉罐頭等食品中;在日用化工上,可用在牙膏、化妝品、洗滌劑、陶瓷、農藥等產品中;在生化上可用在微生物等產品。
本廠主要研究卡拉膠在食品工業中的應用,并從菲律賓、印尼選用優質海藻,加以先進的工藝和嚴格的管理,生產出優質的卡拉膠,具有凝膠強度好,彈性強、透明度高、性能穩定等特點。
Carrageenan is natural polysaccharide hydrophilic gum extracted from the sea plant, red seaweed. Carrageenan which has stickness and stability can coagulate into gelatin and complex compound, and be used as thickening agent, coagulant, suspending agent, emulsifying agent and so on.
Carrageenan, free of taste, is powder in form and white or light yellow in colour. It has good water-solubility. It begins to melt at 70℃ and completely melts at 80℃.
Carrageenan is used widely in the fields of food industry, chemical industry for daily supplies, bilogical chemistry and medicine. In food industry,it can be used in icecream, chocolate milk, jelly, soft drink, bread, ham and meat, etc. In chemical industry, it can be used in toothpaste, detergent pottery, and farm chemical etc. In biological chemistry, it can be used as carrier of microorganism and fixed cell. In medicinal industry, it can be used as floating agent and dispersing agent, and can be used to produce capsule products.
